Robert Chausow, Violin

Robert Chausow, violinist, has been a member of the New York City Ballet Orchestra for over 30 years, currently as Associate Concertmaster. Born in Chicago, he attended Indiana University, where he was a student of Josef Gingold. Other violin teachers included Ivan Galamian, Oscar Shumsky and Nathan Milstein.  In addition to his position with City Ballet, he is the Concermaster of the Westchester Philharmonic, and Assistant Concermaster of the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra and the American Composers Orchestra.
